Despite the summer sun, we've been very busy rehearsing for A Little Musical about Little Women! Since our last post, we've gotten ahead in many dialogue scenes and dance numbers. We're very excited because we have our first ensemble rehearsal this Sunday, where we will be waltzing up a storm! In the past, we've never really had any large dance numbers where there are partner lifts or spins, so it'll be very interesting to see how it goes! We'll keep you posted!

Rehearsals have been going well! And by well, we mean that we've been able to accomplish things and have fun at the same time! The laughs are usually generated by the funny and strange things that people say. Thus, I've put together a list of things people have said in rehearsal that made us laugh good-naturedly.

Memorable Quotes from Rehearsal thus far:

"I don't remember how to skip!"

"Do I look like i'm in love?"

"Copy the pose from Game of Thrones!"

"You're not going to make out with your daugher!"

"How do you hug?"

"Ducks don't bark!"

One of the best thing about doing these productions, is the friendships we strengthen and make. It's always fun when you can enjoy a bowl of icecream together after rehearsal, have an impromptu movie night of O Brother, Where art thou? when the singing and dancing has stopped, take a break to enjoy some delicious cream puffs courtesy of our very own Fani Vandt (THANK YOU FANI!) or go for a walk while munching on a donut long after the rehearsal has ended! I suppose it's just nice to remember that we're just a bunch of friends who get together to put on musicals for charity in our spare time because we love it. And I think that's pretty darn special.
